Quick Quotes
Q. All right, here with Haeran after her final round at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Really, really strong effort from you to try and catch up to Lottie. Ultimately felt a little short. Take us through the round today.
HAERAN RYU: Yeah, also amazing front nine. I'm so happy. But I have a little mistake on the back nine, but that holes I felt is so hard and tricky holes, so I making bogey and double bogeys there.
But it's okay, because everybody feels so hard these hole. Next par-5 I can make the bounceback birdie. Yeah, I feel so happy right now.
Q. Yeah. Was there a point maybe on the front nine when you had a long string of birdies, was there a point like, I'm in this, let's go win?
HAERAN RYU: No, I just focus for my swing, because Lottie is so play well before three rounds so I just think about it want to be on the top three.
So I just keep focus for my swing and then, yeah, that works.
Q. Led the field in birdies; 22 overall. What was the key to success making those birdies?
HAERAN RYU: Yeah, this course green is little bumpy and little slow than another tournament, so I just want to do more hit next to pin and make some easy birdie chance.
So that's why I'm making a lot of birdie on the front nine. But back nine is a little bit more windy and a little bit more tricky holes there.
Yeah, but I'm second. First runner-up, right? So I'm so happy right now.
Q. I talked to Jasmine, your manager. Going back to Korea before the U.S. Open. How good is it to get a break before our next major?
HAERAN RYU: I play a lot tournaments during March, so I just want a little rest. And then maybe I will go to watch the baseball on the weekend, so I'm so happy to go back it Korea.
Q. Who is your favorite team?
HAERAN RYU: I don't have a favorite team but my favorite -- documentaries -- no, like the TV show with the retired players and upcoming, like high school or University school players make some team.
And then the name is (in Korean) is Korean name. I'm so like that show, so maybe weekend I go there.
