IN GEE CHUN:
Q. All right, joined by In Gee Chun after her second round at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. 6-under 64 today. Talk a little bit about especially that back nine. Handful of birdies and an eagle.
IN GEE CHUN: So I starting the back nine first today, and, I mean, I'm little struggling with my allergies this week, so I had a bad round yesterday. But I didn't want to put any extra pressure on me, so I just try to trust the process and then just trust like shot by shots.
That makes me help a lot to set the mind on the course. My shot was great and putting was pretty well. Then starting with the birdie, after that I got a confidence. And then I had an eagle chance the par-5, so after I made eagle, then it was a lot easier to keep playing today.
Q. Do you feel like that eagle kind of helped you get some momentum for the rest of the round?
IN GEE CHUN: For sure. That's why I tried like really hard to make it, because I really wanted to make, too.
So I'm just trying my best. But if it was not, then it was okay. Still like just want to just try every shots. That was my goal, yeah.
Q. And then your round today is one of the best rounds the week; tied for the best rounds the week so far. Can you talk about what makes this course so difficult?
IN GEE CHUN: It was very hilly and then when you miss green then you have like hard situation around the green.
So we need a good second shot. For sure we need to keep the fairway from the tee. I think just we need every like good shot from like every situation.
That makes all the players play really hard. I mean, at the same time, it's fun to play kind of this golf course. It feel like we get a test for all our golf skills out there.
Q. What kind of confidence does this give you going into the weekend now?
IN GEE CHUN: Yeah, I had a good round today, but golf, just we don't know the result, so just keep trying same as today to just keep like good mindset on the course and then just try and focus on every shot.
Because I said I don't want put any extra pressure on me. I think that's the really important to what I can do because result I can't control.
So I think the process is the most important thing. I just want to keep trying what I've done before.
