Quick Quotes

Q. Jen, how are you feeling? How was your performance today?

JENNIFER SRÄGA: It was okay. One shot worse than yesterday, but out there -- I think yesterday it was tougher because of the rain, then wind, rain, and sunny. And today maybe I was a little bit tired, but one shot worse than yesterday and still one shot in front, I think it's a good start for tomorrow.

Q. You came second in the competition last year. Does that give you more motivation this year?

JENNIFER SRÄGA: It's always my aim to be first, beat others, show them how good I am. Yeah, it's good motivation, and I'm looking forward to it.

Q. Was it good playing with Daphne today?

JENNIFER SRÄGA: Yeah, it really made it fun, almost like a team. We know each other when we pull the flag out and doing something. So it's a good team, and we're looking forward to tomorrow.

Q. And after today's round, what do you have to do tonight then to maintain that momentum for tomorrow?

JENNIFER SRÄGA: I think I will just relax now, then maybe going on the range, hit a few shots to get the feeling back going on the range. Not long, maybe two hours, and then just relax with my friends.

Q. And how much confidence does today give you going into tomorrow?

JENNIFER SRÄGA: I think it's good because now we have played the course three times. So we know the spaces, we know the spots where to put the ball or where not to put the ball. So more sure playing this course.

Q. This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. How does golf impact your health, and does it help with your mental health?

JENNIFER SRÄGA: I think it goes both directions. So it helps a lot being in the fresh air, being with nice people, playing the game, and even if you are playing not so good, just make fun going out.

And in the other direction, you really have to concentrate here, focus, and it's really tough for mental health because, if you hit a bad shot, you have to still concentrate and put the focus to the next is shot.

But overall, golf is perfect for work-life balance and for everything.
