THE MODERATOR: Very pleased to be joined by Ellise Rymer here at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Ellise, obviously repping the Bearcat gear. How excited are you to tee it up at this event representing Cincinnati?
ELLISE RYMER: Yeah, I'm super excited. It's super nice to be in Cincinnati and see a lot of familiar faces around. I think it'll help settle the nerves a little bit, but I'm extra excited to get the week going.
Q. Have you gotten to play this course before?
ELLISE RYMER: Played it once before. We played it in the fall. Other than that, that's the only time I've seen it.
Q. What are some of the key characteristics of this course?
ELLISE RYMER: It's quite fiddly on the back nine. You got place the ball well. The rough is really thick right now, so making sure you keep it in play and take advantage of the holes that birdie well.
Q. Making your first start on the LPGA Tour. You mentioned the nerves. What are some of the feelings? Is there excitement? Nerves? What are the feelings?
ELLISE RYMER: Yeah, there is a lot of excitement. I think it's still very surreal for me, especially because I didn't know until middle of last week that I was going to be playing.
So I think it's still -- like I'm still getting used to the fact that I'm here and making my LPGA debut this week.
Q. Any advice any of the players have given you?
ELLISE RYMER: Yeah, Charley mentioned yesterday just go out there and have fun. I spoke to Karen Stupples last night, and she said just a lot of process goals. Don't focus on how big the week is. Just making sure that you take it step by step and you have fun out there, so...
Q. Said that you found out about this last week. What was that like? Take me through the moment you found out you were going to be here competing.
ELLISE RYMER: Yeah, it was unbelievable. I didn't really expect it. I was supposed to fly home on Saturday of last week, and so it was a lot of plans that changed very quickly.
But it was an unbelievable moment when I found out.
Q. And what was it like to be out here today? Saw you walking around out here. What was it like to get here on the course here?
ELLISE RYMER: Yeah, it's super cool. It's amazing being able to see the world's best out here, taking advice from them and just watching them.
The golf course is super nice. I've played it twice already this week. The front nine yesterday with Lottie Woad, and then the back nine the day before. So it's nice to be out here and be among the best players in the world.
Q. What was that moment like? You idolize a lot of these athletes you'll be out there today, and now getting to be competing in the same tournament, what is that like?
ELLISE RYMER: Yeah, it's just a very big learning opportunity for me. I'm trying to take in as much as I can and watch them all day by day in how they do things around here.
Obviously with it being an LPGA event and they do this week in week out, and for me it's a new beginning. It's just very cool to see how they move around the week.
Q. Has there been a surreal or pinch-me moment so far that you're like, I can't believe I'm doing this?
ELLISE RYMER: I think yesterday when I was here interviewing Charley, that was pretty cool. Then just like last night sitting in the players' dinner and players' meeting that was pretty cool as well.
You're among the world's best, so just close setting. That was pretty cool.
Q. Did you plan to be in here for Charley's presser? What made you ask a question?
ELLISE RYMER: No, Jeremy me got me in here. I did a media interview 30 minutes before and he was like, oh, by the way, Charley is coming in. We decided to hang around for that and then I got to ask my question, so...
Q. Are you a big Charley Hull fan?
ELLISE RYMER: I would say so, just because she's from England and so am I. It's nice to see someone from similar backgrounds doing what I want to do.
Q. What did you make of the advice she shared with you yesterday?
ELLISE RYMER: I think it was pretty cool. Being able to ask her anything and know that like she would be there if I had any questions is super neat.
And then, you know, like just being able to get advice from the world's best people that have won many times on Tour is something that I want to do.
It's cool to take advice from her.
Q. Being out here someday and competing on the LPGA Tour something you're hoping will be part of your plans?
ELLISE RYMER: 1000 percent. This is like a dream come true for me, so, yeah.
Q. What are you most looking forward to this weekend?
ELLISE RYMER: I am just excited to get it going, get going tomorrow morning. I'm off at 8:54, so it'll be exciting go play golf.
Q. Anybody you're hoping to see, talk to, play alongside?
ELLISE RYMER: I think Nelly would be someone that I would want to talk to. Yeah, she's one of the best out here, so take advice from her would be really cool.
Q. We asked this you yesterday, so being here today, getting more reps under your belt in preparation for tomorrow, has it hit you yet that you are teeing it up tomorrow on the LPGA Tour?
ELLISE RYMER: Still has not hit me, no. I think that might be a tomorrow morning at 8:50 for me, like five minutes before I go out. That will be when it will hit me, but not yet.
Q. Coach Amy is in here too. What is some of the advice she's given you this week?
ELLISE RYMER: She's just said take in everything, learn from the best, just watch. Just keep watching. Everybody out here is unbelievable, and so just watching from them is something she told me to do.
Q. At the end of the round, so there is an autograph alley off 18, so as a young girl growing up and loving golf, you've been in that world, the young girl idolizing these players. What is it going to be like for you to sign autographs for the next generation tomorrow?
ELLISE RYMER: I haven't really thought about it to be honest. I think it'll be cool to see kids like me a few years back. I'm really excited to be able to help them and inspire them and give autographs like I was asking one day.
So, yeah.
Q. Last one from me. Teammates and friends out here tomorrow. How much is seeing them going to help calm your nerves and comfort you tomorrow?
ELLISE RYMER: Yeah, I think it'll be really good. I had my three coaches with me this week and that's helped a lot. I think just because it's such a big week and making my debut out here seeing a lot of familiar faces will definitely help me out and settle the nerves, and I'll be able to have some fun out there, so, yeah.
THE MODERATOR: Thank you very much Ellise, and best of luck this week.
ELLISE RYMER: Thanks.
