THE MODERATOR: Questions.
Q. This tournament has seen quite a few upsets so far. Do you think these Masters events with the best-of-three-sets format, sometimes you are a little bit more stressful than the Grand Slams because the room for error is smaller?
JANNIK SINNER: Yeah, I mean, it's tough to say. I feel like in Grand Slams you have more tension. Only four tournaments a year.
Of course, here the situation is very different. You come from Madrid where it's very, very fast, then you come here and there are tricky conditions. Today was a lot of wind again. It's not easy to play really, really good tennis.
In the same time it's also normal. Some players struggle a little bit more at times. This is how it is in tennis. You cannot be always on top.
Yeah, there are always going to be upsets in every tournament at the moment. It is what it is.
Q. A lot of your confidence comes from the hard work that you put in your tennis. For two months now you have played a lot in tournaments, you win a lot. You are in competition all the time. How do you manage to find time to work, practice properly, practice on the points you want to progress on? How do you manage to have time to practice properly?
JANNIK SINNER: Look, the most important is the body. On a high level if you're not physically 100%, you don't compete anymore because everyone is playing so fast. You need to be very, very focused.
In the same time you still have time. It depends on what time you play. If you have tomorrow a day off, which I don't have now, because I play again tomorrow, you don't practice. If tomorrow I would have a day off, there is one day where you can try couple things, trying always to add something.
I think there's always time to improve.
