Q. That was a gallant effort you put in out there.

SERGIO GARCIA: Thank you.

Q. You got within one. Right in the middle of the round when you were within one, what were you thinking at that point?

SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, I was fighting hard. Obviously Lucas was playing well. Other than what happened on 9 -- and he actually hit a good shot. He just hit it in the wrong spot over the green. Yeah, I was giving everything that I had.

Unfortunately, I wasn't as sharp today. Obviously it's a little bit tougher with all the pressure and everything. Yeah, but I'm proud of the way I hung in there.

Obviously my teammates did amazing. Just a little disappointed that I didn't make that putt on the last to win it outright. You know, we gave it a great chance, so that's all I can ask for.

Q. Was it a tricky putt?

SERGIO GARCIA: No. I hit a good putt. I thought it was a cut right to left. I thought it was -- when I hit it, I thought it had a chance, but it just broke a lot, broke a little bit more than I thought. It is what it is, I guess.

Q. You sent the young guys out for the playoff. What was the thought process?

SERGIO GARCIA: They both played well today. I was a little tired. I would have loved to be there, but I was a little too tired. I thought playing from the back, it was a good hole for them.

Unfortunately, David got a little unfortunate there on the second shot. He caught a little bit off a flier and couldn't up-and-down, but it is what it is.

Q. Have you liked the team aspect of all of this?

SERGIO GARCIA: Of course. What kind of question is that? Yeah, I love it. It's great.
