MIZUHO AMERICAS OPEN

May 10, 2026

Ruoning Yin

West Caldwell, New Jersey, USA

Mountain Ridge Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Joining us after the final round of the Mizuho Americas Open is Ronni Yin. You had a really great week this week. You had a really great week at Chevron. Talk about the state of your game right now.

RUONING YIN: Yeah, I think my game is trending towards the right direction, so I think I had today especially just a pure ball striking day. I made 18 greens and 13 fairways, and just, you know, just the putts didn't go well on the back nine.

But overall, I'm happy of where I'm at right now.

Q. Yeah, from a mental side, how do you continue to push yourself and continue to stay in it when you're not always necessarily coming out on top? How do you continue to fight?

RUONING YIN: Yeah, I think this week will be my fifth runner-up in had 19 months, so I don't know, I think it's coming.

I just think something cool is going to happen. I just don't know when. Yeah, I mean, if I can be in contention every week like this week and like the Chevron week, I think it's going to happen soon.

Q. And then heading into next week, what's going to be your focus both on the course and off the course?

RUONING YIN: Next week it's a new course, so I'm just going to try to learn the course as much as I can on the -- before Thursday, so, yeah. We'll see how that goes.

Q. Then just a final one you have if you know one. You were down there celebrating Jeeno. Being out here on Tour, you get close with a lot of the girls. What does it mean to be able to celebrate your wins and their wins, and what does it mean to have them there to pick you up when you're down?

RUONING YIN: Jeeno is winning a lot more than me right now. I get to celebrate with her and Thailand and this week and CME last year. I think it's just she motivates me a lot, especially where we're super close and just seeing her do her thing. It's just super cool, and I hope someday it's my turn.
