MIZUHO AMERICAS OPEN

May 10, 2026

Jenny Bae

West Caldwell, New Jersey, USA

Mountain Ridge Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here where Jenny Bae after her final round to the Mizuho Americas Open. Extremely solid. Bogey-free round from you today. Just take us through it. Tough conditions all week. Tough course. What was the keying to going bogey-free today?

JENNY BAE: I think patience really was the key out there today. I honestly didn't expect to make no bogeys. I actually came in thinking I have to make a lot of birdies in case I make mistakes, because out there it's kind of inevitable.

But luckily I was able to save everything, up and down when I needed to. I think everything was cruise control.

Q. Only missed one green in regulation today. What was the key to approaching your approach shots to the green?

JENNY BAE: My caddie and I were talking, and I think the most important thing out there is to just shoot for the middle of the green and hope that you get the right bounce.

Especially some pins out there, they're really tucked and the greens are really fast and really firm. So I think we just really stuck to our goal.

Q. Great playing today. Off the beaten path, wondering have you -- did you find any inspiration or what's your opinion on what Jeeno and Nelly have been able to do this season and the past few seasons?

JENNY BAE: They're incredible. Not just as golf players, but also just as human beings. They're just incredible people.

I actually saw them on TV and before I came up here, and right now it's only my second year on tour, and I still have to learn, many, many things to improve on.

But just looking at them, it kind of inspires me to do better, strengthen little things that I need to work on, and hopefully I'll be able to compete with them.

Q. Last one. Heading to another new course on our schedule at the Kroger Queen City Championship. What do you take from this week heading into the next?

JENNY BAE: I think this week was really hard. It challenged a lot of my golf game in different parts of it. I think I'm learning about it and I'm really excited to go out next week and just try to play my game. Hopefully just pick new targets and stick with them.
