Q. Bryson, some start today. 4-under through 7. How important was it to stay patient?

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: It was massive today. I felt like I was playing a lot better than what was actually happening after the first seven holes and was playing stellar. Just nothing was dropping for me.

16 hit a good putt. 15 hit a good putt. 14 even hit a good putt. And didn't make birdie on 10, 11, 12, the par-5. It was 8-under today. It was a pretty good round. I felt like it could be into the 10s.

It was a great round today. Everybody played great. We fed off of each other. It was a fun day of golf. Every once in a while days in golf where you're like, man, this is fun. Especially as professionals, you know hard it is, you know how difficult it can be out there. Today was fun. We gave the crowd a show today. So that was fun.
