Q. All right, joining us after the third round of the Mizuho Americas Open is Karis Davidson and Mia Clauson. You guys played together today. You were also paired as mentor/mentee. We'll start with you Karis. Talk about this program and getting to play a competitive round together?
KARIS DAVIDSON: Yeah, I got to admit, I was a little bit nervous at the start of the week. I was like, I better not swear and be a good influence.
So it was nice today. I felt a bit more comfortable. Yeah, it was really cool to see Mia in action. Every time she was putting I was like, get in the hole. Yeah, that was my experience.
Q. Mia, what has this week been like for you?
MIA CLAUSEN: It's been really special just being able to practice with the pros. It's been a dream come true because I see all my idols out there, so it's really cool.
Q. To you again, Mia, what was it like getting to watch Karis and Grace out there today and see them play how they play and being professionals on tour?
MIA CLAUSEN: Yeah, you guys are amazing.
KARIS DAVIDSON: Aww, thanks.
MIA CLAUSEN: Yeah.
Q. What are some takeaways you think you'll have from this week?
MIA CLAUSON: You want to go first?
KARIS DAVIDSON: No, you go.
MIA CLAUSEN: This course is tough. I think just like I'm not too far away from the pros, so I think if I keep working hard, then one day I'll be able to come out here and play too.
KARIS DAVIDSON: Yeah, definitely.
Q. Karis, what's a word of advice you have for Mia and just juniors in general, and then what does seeing them out here competing at this level tell you about the future of women's golf?
KARIS DAVIDSON: I mean, yeah, I'm really impressed by request you are game actually. I haven't told you that yet.
But, yeah, I would just say really enjoy the junior days. We were talking about this on 18. Like it's so much fun. Just really embrace the whole experience, good and bad because out here you have good and bad days.
So just being accepting of that is probably my advice, yeah.
Q. And then for each of you, just back to the golf course and the tournament at hand this week, what's your focus going to be on tomorrow and what do you think is really important at this golf course?
KARIS DAVIDSON: Well, my driver has been pretty good so far this week, and keeping it on the fairway definitely helps because the greens are quite firm and honestly just being really patient.
It is really tough. Everyone is having a three-putt here and there and missing the green. And, yeah, just staying patient I would say is what I'm going to do and try and enjoy it.
MIA CLAUSEN: Yeah, I think missing it in the right places, because if you miss it on the wrong side of the green you're not going to get up and down most likely.
And I think lag putt this week is also very important because the greens are pretty big, so -- and fast -- and so it's really important.
KARIS DAVIDSON: Yeah.
