Q. Here with Melanie Green after her second round here at the Mizuho Americas Open. 2-under for you on the day; T6 currently. How tough was it out there today?

MELANIE GREEN: Yeah, no, wind is always not a friend to many, so yeah, no, very difficult. Obviously battling through some cold conditions, wind, started to sprinkle there for a little bit.

So yeah, it's a tough day out there. And obviously the golf course is -- feel like is softening up a little bit with the rain, so I guess that's to our benefit. Yeah, no, difficult.

Q. How do you adjust mid-round? I think it was sunny and like you said the wind came in and started raining a bit. How do you adjust your rounds when you get hit with these kind of conditions?

MELANIE GREEN: Yeah, I think we've all been doing it since we were kids, so -- yeah, we've all been doing it since we were kids, so I think you kind of just are going with the flow.

Q. Still 15 of 18 greens in regulation today. Was there anything working particularly well in the short game or anything?

MELANIE GREEN: Yeah, I mean -- no, no, no, I got you. I mean, these greens aren't necessarily small so I think that's to our advantage I guess.

But, yeah, no, everything is going well. Nothing crazy. Not reinventing the wheel, that's for sure.

Q. Not home, home but pretty close to home for you this week. Is it nice to kind of be back in the Northeast up here?

MELANIE GREEN: Yeah, no, it's always good to come back to this grass. You know, I never get worried about coming back to bent grass, that's for sure. Obviously grew up on this; obviously I like it.

I've adjusted to bermuda with college and stuff like that. Yeah, no, I have -- never a problem coming back here. I enjoy it.

Q. Any local spots that anyone recommended?

MELANIE GREEN: Angelinos the pizza place. I guess we're pretty close to the city. I hadn't mapped it out until somebody told me. Yeah, I think we'll have to hit up that spot. New Yorker, I'm not the biggest pizza fan, but you got to go, right?

Q. In contention heading into the weekend once again. In contention last week in Mexico. What's the mindset for you when you see yourself top 10 in the leaderboard heading into a weekend?

MELANIE GREEN: Yeah, I mean, nothing really changes. I still have to go play the golf course, right? Yeah, no, it's fun to play golf well. That's definitely a plus. Makes life out here a little easier.
