Q. Joining us after the first round of the Mizuho Americas Open is Youmin Hwang. Youmin, strong 1-under par round. What is going well for you on this golf course?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) Today my shots were good and I was able to land all my fairways and getting on the green was good, so despite the difficult course conditions I think I did well.

Q. This is officially your rookie season. You've played really well. How are you adjusting to life on the LPGA Tour?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) It's obviously my first time here on the LPGA. On the golf course the conditions are stellar, and I'm so happy to play as much golf as I can.

I am a little lonely, but I am kept company with my mom, my caddie, and my manager playing games outside.

Q. How do you plan to carry this momentum and this experience on the golf course into the next three rounds?

YOUMIN HWANG: (Through translation.) There is weather forecasts of rain and a lot of wind here this week, and because the golf course is hard I'm trying to focus on the points I am able to work on.
