THE MODERATOR: All right, pleased to be joined by contributes it is what it is ahead of Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba. Isabella, can you just open up and talk about what this event means for women's golf in Mexico?
ISABELLA FIERRO: Yeah, thank you. I'm very grateful to be sitting here for the second time. I'm very, very happy about this tournament, about what Mexico has overcome with golf, how women's golf in Mexico has grown.
So I'm super excited to be here this week. Seeing the best player in the world in the field is such a bonus and such a good thing to have, and I'm really excited to be here. Having my family and seeing familiar faces is always a good thing.
Q. And then going off the women's golf, there are nine Mexicans competing this week. Can you talk about how the game has grown and how fun it is to see some natives out here?
ISABELLA FIERRO: It's such a big thing. Starting with Lorena Ochoa a long time ago, she set the bar pretty high for us but it's such a good thing.
I'm just really, really excited about the two players, Maria and Caro that qualified yesterday. I know they're going to do great. Like you said, nine Mexican players is a such a good thing.
Xuntas is doing a good job with the support. Yeah, and we've come from a long way and we're trying to inspire younger generations. Yeah, definitely really exciting.
Q. You mentioned it's your second time competing, obviously last year and this year. What are you most excited about or proud of coming back to this event?
ISABELLA FIERRO: Just everything about it. I mean, starting from the clubhouse, seeing familiar faces from the staff, all of the organizers in this tournament. Just makes me feel at home. I only live to hours from here driving so definitely makes me feel at home.
And seeing all of the golf course, I know this golf course since I was probably eight or nine so definitely brings me a lot of good memories.
I'm just really happy to be here.
