THE MODERATOR: Talk a little bit about your round, all the eagles, and just making this thing interesting.
ALEX FITZPATRICK: It was pretty spectacular. Got off to a pretty decent start, and suddenly out of nowhere I hole an approach, and yeah, it's starting to look very good.
You know, I think we just did a really good job today of -- you know, foursomes can be a little bit tricky mentally, but we just did a really good job of just sticking to our own game and trying to put ourselves in a spot where we can execute the shots that we know that we're capable of. I'm just really proud of the both of us.
THE MODERATOR: Kris, how much scoreboard-watching were you doing? When did you realize you had a real chance?
KRIS VENTURA: Yeah, not a ton really. Just towards the end because we were a few shots behind. Obviously once I saw that we were really close, I think I told my caddie that we need an eagle on the last to give it a chance.
We made it close. That's all we could do. It was really fun competing down the stretch.
THE MODERATOR: Take us through the eagles if you can -- eight, 11, and 18.
KRISTOFFER REITAN: All right. Yeah, no, what is it, eight? That was insane. Yeah, I had a decent number for a slight draw gap wedge. I mean, I couldn't say anything, so I just saw a bunch of people celebrating. Yeah, it was a pretty special moment.
Q. Number 11.
KRIS VENTURA: Three good shots. Good drive, and he made a long putt for eagle, and obviously 18, three really good shots. I don't think we could have picked any -- or hit it any better. Yeah, really happy that we gave it a chance and really proud of both of us this week.
Q. Our winners, I know you're really proud of the Fitzpatricks too. Talk a little about them winning today.
KRIS VENTURA: Like I said, really happy for both of them. Obviously for their parents, it must have been awesome to watch their boys win a PGA TOUR tournament together. I don't think that happens very often.
You know, we gave it our best. It wasn't enough, but really happy for them.
