Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Ronni Yin after the final round of The Chevron Championship. Great playing all week. Really climbed the leaderboard over the weekend. How proud are you of this effort?
RUONING YIN: Absolutely. I think I only had three bogeys this week, three or four.
I think I'm really proud of that. I am just not really happy about the bogey on 17. Overall I think my game feels great this week and just I was really patient out there, especially this course requires a lot. You really need to hit a good shot and just commit to your target.
I think I've done well on that, so overall I'm happy.
Q. I know not the finish you might have wanted in terms of hoisting the trophy, but second consecutive year you've tied for second in this championship. What is it about Texas and Houston golf that just seems to suits you?
RUONING YIN: I mean, I live in Texas so I just assume I have good vibes here.
So, yeah, I mean, I think this course suits me well, and I think if I can hit a little bit longer it would be great.
But overall I think I'm just really proud of this week.
Q. Finally, just huge, huge finish early in the season. What does this do for your confidence as you look ahead to the rest of 2026?
RUONING YIN: 100%. I think me and my team were talking about like just how patience helps, because I think early this year or last year I think I was really stressed because I think I can be better but I'm not, so it's kind of stressing me out a little bit.
So I mean, I think you just got believe that your time will come and I think it's coming. If it's not this week it's next week.
