Q. Can you talk about what went well on the golf course today?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, I think overall just being patient. I still would like to be hitting it a little better off the tees, but definitely no complaints with my score. I committed to a lot of my golf shots out there and made a few good putts coming in, which really helped that score.

Q. We're seeing a few lower scores today versus the first two rounds. Can you talk about the difference in conditions or what's making it more gettable?

LEXI THOMPSON: I would say pins, but then there's some pins that are just not very nice out there. But you know, it's a major championship, so that's how it should be.

I would say it was a little less windy today and as gusty, so maybe that's why some of the scores are a bit lower.

Q. We see your husband is out here, your dog is out here supporting you. What does their support mean to you at this point in your career?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, it means so much, not only my husband and my dog, but my parents are here and good family friends, as well. It means the world to me that my inner circle, that's how I got to where I'm at today. I'm very blessed and very grateful for them, and also all the fans out here.
