THE CHEVRON CHAMPIONSHIP

April 25, 2026

Lottie Woad

Houston, Texas, USA

Memorial Park Golf Course

Quick Quotes

Q. Joining us after the third round of The Chevron Championship is Lottie Woad. Lottie, put up a 67 today, one of the lower scores we've seen this week. What was going well out there on the course?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think I just hit more greens. I've missed -- I think everyone has missed a fair few greens with some of the run-offs.

I felt like today I hit more fairways and greens and gave myself some better looks. The pins were slightly easier as well, but overall played a little better.

Q. Condition-wise is it different this weekend? We haven't had rain in a few days. Or is it playing pretty similar?

LOTTIE WOAD: Playing pretty similar. Still very soft off the tee and getting a lot of mud on the ball and stuff like that. I don't think it got any drier yet. The humidity is keeping it how it is.

Yeah, the greens are still on the softer side because of the rain. I'm sure they could firm up tomorrow. We'll see.

Q. New venue this year. Can you give some impressions about playing out here at Memorial Park?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think it's a good test. Definitely good length off the tee. I think the par-3s are probably the strongest parts of the golf course. A lot of around like 6-irons, 5-irons into some of the greens, which you can make -- play level par on the par-3s you're probably doing all right.

Q. How hard is it to stay away from bogeys and what did you do today to do that?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, didn't have a bogey today, yeah. I think you just got to scramble pretty good when do you miss the green. I gave myself a lot of tap-ins from my chips so kind of stress-free on that.

Just play away from certain pins. There was definitely a few that had some run-offs. Like 18, it was around the front left, so just kind of play middle of the green to that.

Q. If you had to pick a couple birdies today, what would be them and can you describe them?

LOTTIE WOAD: I think 17 was a good birdie. I think that's probably one of the hardest holes on the course. It was a nice pin today but hit a nice 7-iron in there to about ten feet; holed that.

I think a nice birdie on the first. The pin was a bit sneaky on the back even as a par-5. It was a nice start to the day.
