Q. Kris, excellent round of golf today. 5-under par is a great score, isn't it?
KRIS VENTURA: Really good. Obviously a little windy today, but it's not easy. I think we played some really good golf. We had a tough stretch of a couple of holes where it was crucial to save par on that par-3.
Yeah, overall really solid. A lot of good looks and really was almost never out of position.
Q. It Seems windier than yesterday. We had some wind yesterday afternoon, but it was windier out there. Was it more difficult to deal with?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: I don't know. It was quite windy yesterday afternoon as well, so I felt like it played fairly similar. Yeah, of course, you're going to get some shots here that become really, really difficult once that wind starts to pick up. Yeah, it was good to deal with those in a good manner.
Q. I think we all assumed since you both are from Norway that you have known each other for a long time. Can you talk about how long you've known each other through the years and the obvious pairing that this is?
KRIS VENTURA: Yeah, I've known him since he was a little junior. I mean, he's three years younger than me, but yeah, we just grew up playing in the same club, went to the same high school, had some of the same coaches growing up. Yeah, we've known each other for a long time.
Q. I'll give you a chance to gush. He's three years older. Sounds like you probably looked up to him?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: 100%. I idolized him from the age of 12 to maybe, I don't know, 16 or maybe even later than that.
Yeah, I remember our first interaction was me sending him a text at the age of 12 or something. He had just won the French Boys, and I was kind of going, like, crazy, just like Congrats, man, that was awesome.
Yeah, that's kind of how it started. Yeah, we've been at countless practice camps together and spent a lot of time together. It's cool to be out here with someone you're really comfortable with.
Q. I think we're making Kris Ventura blush on that. We'll leave on that high note. Best of luck tomorrow.
