Q. Joining us after the first round of the The Chevron Championship is Yunseo Yang. Yunseo, this is your first-ever LPGA event. How does it feel to be competing against the best golfers in the world?

YUNSEO YANG: (Through translation.) It's a good experience being able to play at the LPGA with the best players. I think I learned a lot from my round.

Q. You went 3-under today. What was going well on the golf course?

YUNSEO YANG: (Through translation.) It was windy so I wasn't able to land on the greens as well, but I was able to save my putts, so I think that's what led to a good score.

Q. What is your goal for the week? What would make this a good experience for you?

YUNSEO YANG: (Through translation.) My first goal was making the cut, and I think I was able to make a good score today so my goal now is to play well and then make top 20.
