JM EAGLE LA CHAMPIONSHIP

April 19, 2026

Alison Lee

Los Angeles, California, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. Joining us after the final round of the JM Eagle LA Championship is Alison Lee. Talked to you a lot at the beginning of the week about just starting your season and about being a mom on tour. Made the cut; finishing here with a great round today. Can you just talk about how you're feeling?

ALISON LEE: Yeah, I feel great. Obviously it's nice and easy to say I feel great after having a low final round but my game feels really solid.

I feel like all week or even before coming here my game didn't feel quite ready. I was working on a few things in my swing and like I've said before, I feel like my level of play correlates to how well Levi sleeps. We had about a month where he wasn't sleeping great.

Yeah, I just found something my swing at the beginning of the week and I felt really comfortable with all the clubs in my bag and I was able to swing a lot more confidently.

And so, yeah, I'm really happy with this week. I didn't have a great Saturday, but even with not a great round I feel like my game feels pretty solid. I just had a couple bad shots and just didn't make anything yesterday.

But thankfully made up for it today. But I feel really, really good about my game and where it's at.

Q. Heading into Chevron next week, how are you feeling about going into that tournament? And then also, like you said, you're starting these events earlier than you were expecting to. How are you feeling about that decision right now?

ALISON LEE: Really good. I mean, I wasn't going to play my first event since -- or I wasn't going to start the LPGA season until Mizuho and I'm really, really glad I was able to play this week.

It's easy to say now because I had a good week, but, yeah, I wanted to play one week here being close to home, friends and family in the crowd and feeling really comfortable, and having a lot of help, too. Both my parents have helped so much with the baby as well.

But I know next week is going look really different. I'm only traveling with Trey, my baby's father, and it's his first time flying in a while, so we'll see how that goes. It'll be a new environment for him, too, obviously.

But, yeah, golf-wise I feel really, really good. I just need to polish up a few things. My swing coach, Chris Mason, will be there next week too to help me polish a few things up. Off the golf course I'll have someone helping with Levi and I'll utilize daycare, all the great stuff that the LPGA has to offer.

Yeah, really looking forward to next week. It's a brand new golf course, too. It's going to be new for everyone, and so it should be really interesting. I'm really excited.

Q. And then we talked about Chella the other day after you guys played a round together and she said you guys just talked about your babies all day.

ALISON LEE: Uh-huh.

Q. How does it feel to be out there and inside the ropes with people in a similar situation that you are?

ALISON LEE: Yeah, it's so much fun. I mean, and Chella's son is a little bit older than mine, too so just talking to her about all the different stages her son is going through and what he's doing now is really cool to listen to because it's then like I have that to look forward to as well with my son.

It's just nice to have that. Chella's son is back home in Korea so she is really grinding it out like trying to come out here and focus on golf, which I really, really applaud her for. It's so hard to do, travel on the other side of world and leave your family back home and try and come out here and play your best and provide for your family. So I really, really admire her for that.

But it was really cool to play some golf with her and it's nice to is he her out here again.
