Q. How are you feeling about all the fan support out here in Mexico City so far?

ABRAHAM ANCER: It's been amazing. It's always an honor to play here. I feel like I'm always a little bit too hard on myself, trying to be perfect, and obviously put on a show, and I guess it makes it a little bit tougher.

But today was really cool. I feel like I was feeding off the crowds. A bunch of kids out here, which is what we want and what we like to see. It's a great event, and the weekend is going to be even better.

Q. How do you feel that the momentum coming into the weekend? You bounced back with a great round today. How are you feeling about the next two days?

ABRAHAM ANCER: Yeah, I feel good. I have to obviously stay really focused and just keep doing what I did today. Just keep doing that. This is a course where it's not easy for me. I feel like it should fit me or fit my type of game, but being in altitude and this type of grass on the greens and in the fairways is something completely different to where I grew up, so it's taken me some time to adjust, but I love it, and it's a great challenge. Just got to keep doing what I'm doing, what I did today on the weekend.
