Q. Joining me after the first round of the JM Eagle LA Championship is Yu Liu. Yu, you had an ace today. Can you talk about that experience?

YU LIU: Oh, it was my first ever ace in a tournament; my second ever ace like all-time, so I was very calm to be honest.

Q. Okay.

YU LIU: I don't think I reacted very hyperly. It was just -- but I saw it went in. Like I even saw how it broke, so it was pretty cool.

Q. Now that you that you're off the course are you feeling that excitement?

YU LIU: Yeah. Because I kind of messed up. Like it was very chaotic towards the end. The hole before I missed two and a half feet for birdie and I was like, wow, I'm glad it went -- I kept the momentum going instead of went the other way.

Q. Yeah. It's on camera so you'll get to watch it.

YU LIU: Okay. And then next hole I hit it in the water, but it's all good. I had a hole-in-one. I'm happy about it.

Q. For every hole-in-one on Tour CME donates $20,000 St. Jude's Children's Hospital. How does it feel to contribute to that cause?

YU LIU: Definitely very appreciative of CME for like constant support, and, yeah, I feel like I've done something really special and just added another tier to something that I'm already very excited about.
