Q. All right, joining us after the first round the JM Eagle LA Championship is Chella Choi. 6-under today; 8 birdies. What was going really for you on the course?

CHELLA CHOI: (Through translation.) My play was good. The beginning I had a lot of birdie chances and was able to follow through with that.

I think my short game was good as well.

Q. You didn't play last year because you were on maternity leave. How good does it feel to be back out here and playing well?

CHELLA CHOI: (Through translation.) Last year I saw this actually on TV and playing it the course wasn't easy. During the practice round I really thought that I needed to make good shots and opportunities, and I think that was able to come through today to have a good score at the end.

But I think coming back after not playing for a while I'm just getting back into it.

Q. Have you set any goals for yourself this year? Is there anything that you want to achieve this season?

CHELLA CHOI: (Through translation.) I had a lot of expectations going into my first tournament coming back, and I think I really realized I felt really out of it and my game wasn't there.

So I think I'm really trying to focus in on those aspects, so I'm finding that.

Q. Then you played in a group with Alison Lee today. Did you guys talk at all about being LPGA Tour moms?

CHELLA CHOI: (Through translation.) We talked actually all day about our babies, and even though Alison had a baby one year later than mine they're actually the same size. So we honestly just talked about all that and, yeah.
