MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 12, 2026

Russell Henley

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. Russell, talk about today. What went well for you today?

RUSSELL HENLEY: I hit it amazing today. I gave myself a bunch of looks. Unfortunately, I didn't capitalize on those looks on the back like I would have liked to.

I felt like I handled the pressure well, handled the conditions well. It was tricky out there. Just hit it great. Really thankful for a good finish. Wish I would have made some more putts and got a little closer to the lead, but overall very thankful.

Q. What was going through your head as you were waiting --

RUSSELL HENLEY: Once I got done?

Q. Yeah.

RUSSELL HENLEY: I knew Scottie would probably make par because I saw him in the middle of the fairway. I just didn't make quite enough putts on the back to get it done.

Q. The way the week started, compare it with your expectations --

RUSSELL HENLEY: I was feeling pretty good. I made a lot of mistakes. The first day, I think I made six bogeys. A lot of mistakes from the fairway and I feel like I cleaned up the ball-striking on the weekend.

Q. The finish here, what does it do for you for the next major and for the rest of the season?

RUSSELL HENLEY: Yeah, I feel like I handled it well, kind of like, I can do this. I feel like I handled the nerves well. I just felt like my reads weren't very good. Really happy with how I competed.
