MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 11, 2026

Patrick Cantlay

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. So easy to do the math, plus-5, minus-5, minus-6, total minus-6. I'm curious about the progression. How does that happen?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, had a rough day the first day. I didn't hit the ball all that well and I've hit the ball really well the last few days. Just kind of a round that you throw out and try and get to work. I feel like I've done a good job not staying patient but not trying to get it all back at once and playing the right shot the last couple days.

Q. Any holes or a succession of holes that worked better for you yesterday and today?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I just hit a lot more greens so I had -- you know, a lot of the more difficult holes I just two-putted. I had 40, 50 feet. And then on the scorable holes like the par-5s I made some birdies.

Just really solid golf tee to green the last two days.

Q. I understand you're going straight to the range. What are working on, or is that part of your routine?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, it's part of my routine. Do a little practice afterwards, work a little bit on some stuff on my swing. Just put in a little work and then get some rest.
