Quick Quotes
Q. Your first Masters. Talk us through it. What do you think?
CASEY JARVIS: Yeah, it was special. Special place to be. I had a lot of fun out there. Obviously a disappointing day. Trying hard to make the cut.
Unfortunately, that's golf, but yeah, really happy to be here.
Q. South Africa has a very fine tradition. The last time we failed to get anybody in the cut, any guess when that was?
CASEY JARVIS: No idea.
Q. '86. Charl probably will make it. Why do you think we are struggling at the moment? You are doing so well on the European Tour.
CASEY JARVIS: I've got no idea. These are the best players in the world, so I think for me it's my first time, so I'm pretty sure they know the courses a lot better than I do.
I can't answer that question.
Q. Do you think you would benefit by being on the PGA TOUR?
CASEY JARVIS: I don't think so. The DP World Tour is strong. PGA TOUR is strong. I didn't have my A-game.
Q. Do you think there's young South Africans coming through?
CASEY JARVIS: Yeah, lots. We have plenty coming through. I think we have a good future, yeah.
Q. What do you take out of this round, out of playing your first Masters?
CASEY JARVIS: Yeah, I mean, I think I learned the course a little bit better, learned where to hit it around the greens. I didn't putt at all. I didn't putt good at all. Really struggled with the short putting. I made nothing, so yeah, got to work hard on the putting.
Q. Anything you would do differently going forward?
CASEY JARVIS: No, nothing different. I'm just going to stick to what got me here.
Q. What are you going to do now, tomorrow?
CASEY JARVIS: I'll come watch. I'll watch Rory. Maybe I'll learn something, you know.
