Q. Making it through another cut today. Shot well today. How did it feel out there, and what are the emotions going into Saturday?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: Yeah, it felt good. I felt like I played really well. It was really tricky. The wind was everywhere. There was no direction that it blew all day, and it was enough to where it was affecting the golf ball.

I played really solid. Made some nice putts. Other than 15 I laid it up and, it just happened to go in a divot, which was unfortunate, because that shot is hard enough already. I was in the middle of a sand divot, so did not help.

Yeah, obviously making seven there was -- you know, but other than that it was a really good day. Yeah, I'm happy with it. Happy with the score.

I don't think I'll be too far behind going into the weekend, and if the course keeps getting firmer, faster, some good solid scores, I can get right back in the tournament.

Q. You have won this tournament. You've made cuts. You've missed cuts. What's the biggest difference you've found coming playing Saturday and Sunday versus the first two rounds?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: I mean, it all depends on what Augusta wants to do with the golf course. Sometimes, you know, they set it up Saturday where you can go low, and sometimes it's hard. So it kind of depends on how they're feeling and what they want to do.

Q. This tournament is obviously special in itself, but being so close to where you're from, does that add a little extra to it?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: Yeah, it's a tournament that's always been special to me, and especially after winning here in 2020. Yeah, I mean, it's always going to be special. Yeah, I look forward to coming here every year.

Obviously this year we've got beautiful weather, and the golf course is in great shape. You know, I'm just happy to kind of be somewhere around the lead going into the weekend. Obviously I'm quite a few back, but like I said, the golf course, if it gets firmer, faster, anything can happen.

Q. Being so close to home, is there anybody here that's watching you, following along?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: Yeah, I've got a lot of family here, so it's nice. It's a nice week for us.
