Q. Nico, is the golf course getting harder as we speak?

NICOLAS ECHAVARRIA: Yeah, I saw a little bit of inconsistency on some greens. Some greens on maybe 13 and 15 are getting really, really hard. The rest of the course I think was a little more playable than yesterday, but yeah, I felt like some of the pins were just a little bit easier than the first day.

Q. What was the big issue this week with your game?

NICOLAS ECHAVARRIA: Not hitting it in the green enough on my second shots I guess with the irons.

Q. Was it kind of a tricky thing to try to peak your game from majors, you know, to be playing great into an event like this?

NICOLAS ECHAVARRIA: Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's more disappointing. I felt like I did some good preparation coming up and not being able to hit the ball the way I wanted. Obviously this is a second-shot golf course, and the irons were very poor this week.
