Quick Quotes
Q. Max, can you describe that round a little bit?
MAX HOMA: Not the best start hitting, and then after the par save on seven, I haven't hit the ball -- I mean, that was like a dream ball-striking. I felt like I had left, like, four out there, so that was fun.
It's been like that a lot more, you know, not so much in tournament rounds, but in the practice rounds and lead-up to it. It was cool to see that, and it felt easy there for a while.
Q. How proud are you of yourself to put that round together here on this kind of day?
MAX HOMA: Yeah, it was great. I've been super stoked about my mentals. I knew the golf was there. Like I said, it's been great at home. It's been good in the practice rounds.
So really patient and had a lot of fun. So it was cool to -- it's fun to see it come out, but I was more proud of just how I've kind of emotionally withstood the test of the Masters.
Q. What's the key to keep it going this weekend?
MAX HOMA: Yeah, I mean, just kind of keep doing what I've been doing. I've been real intentful about my shots. I feel like that's where it kind of turned. I felt like I was kind of guiding it early and then started to really see what I was trying to do, have some confidence in it.
So I think if I keep doing that, I don't see why I wouldn't play well.
