Q. So you were the first qualifier through the national open. What do you feel now after being here about that process and how well it worked for you?

MARCO PENGE: Yeah. Obviously to be here is a dream come true, and to have been given the opportunity at the Spanish Open, to have won that and earn this opportunity to be playing the Masters at Augusta is something that is just so surreal.

Just been out with my family playing the Par-3 kind of before we get going tomorrow. Had a great couple days' preparation and was fortunate enough to play with Freddy Couples this morning and Brooks Koepka.

Yeah, it's been great.

Q. Can you talk about the preparation and the advice you got from players like Couples or Koepka.

MARCO PENGE: Yeah. Yesterday was the first time I played the course and it's a lot to learn around this golf course. You can see why past winners do really well even if it's 20 years on. Yeah, Freddy gave me tons of tips today and it's the first time I've met him but I felt like I've kind of known him for 10 years.

It's just a really special week and a special moment for me and my family. And it's been amazing.

Q. What parts of your game do you think are going to work on this course, and what is your mindset now for the rest of the week?

MARCO PENGE: Yeah. I feel like the way I drive the ball is definitely a big advantage for around here. I think I'm number one in strokes gained off the tee this year on the PGA TOUR. So hopefully I can bring my A game, and yeah, I think driving is definitely an area that I can gain some advantage over the other players.

And my expectations for the week is just trying to keep fairly low, but I'd love to be in contention come Sunday, and yeah, we'll see how things go.
