Augusta, Georgia, USA
Quick Quotes
Q. If you could spend one day at Augusta as a patron, maybe from start to finish, what time are you getting here? What are you eating throughout the day? Where are you sitting, all that kind of stuff?
LUDVIG ABERG: I would get here early, as soon as I can, as soon as the gates open. Walk around, get some sandwiches, get some breakfast. And, yeah, I think there's a few holes. Obviously you want to see 11, 12, 13. I think you have to see those at some point.
I would want to see 16, if I was a fan, especially when they put the pins kind of down left. And, yeah, just don't take any pictures, I guess, during the tournaments. But just try to soak it in.
Q. Is there any specific golfer you'd want to follow or any groups you want to follow?
LUDVIG ABERG: I would watch Jordan Spieth or Hideki Matsuyama. I love watching them play. You never know what's going to happen. They might chip it in or hit a flat shot to dead. They're fun to watch.
Q. What do you think about, fans, no phones. What's that experience like?
LUDVIG ABERG: It's very different. It's very different because a normal tournament seems like there's a lot of phones up. You want to take videos and pictures and keep up with the scores.
That's very different here. It feels like the fans are a little bit more engaged in the golf. They're a little bit more attuned to what's going on. It's a cool environment to play. It feels like good golf shots are being appreciated in a different way. And it's also quite nice to just leave your phone somewhere.
Q. I don't know if you've noticed, but practice rounds they can have like old-school cameras. Do you notice that at all?
LUDVIG ABERG: Yeah. It was funny, obviously that's how it was in the '90s when you had the shutter clicks and we don't really experience that anymore, but I can see how that would annoy someone when that goes off on your back swing.
