MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 7, 2026

Rasmus Hojgaard

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. How would you describe playing Amen Corner?

RASMUS HØJGAARD: How would I describe playing Amen Corner? Pretty special. Yeah, it's a big turning point for the round I would say. If you get through those holes I would say under par you have done a very, very good job.

There is something about it. Like that second shot into 11 and then you're standing on 12 and you get to the corner on 13 and there is something -- almost like there is a little spirit there of pure history.

So always when I walked it I'm just trying to soak it in a little bit and think of some of the amazing shots we've seen over the years. I'm obviously that young that most of the shots I've seen was on YouTube, not in person. Yeah, it's a special point on the golf course.

Q. So do players group those three holes together like we do and sort of approach it as I'm going to play Amen Corner not 11, 12, 13?

RASMUS HØJGAARD: Yeah, I'm not too sure. I almost put from 10 to 13 as a little bracket of holes where you're trying to get through that in a positive way.

One day that might mean that you shoot 1-over par and that's a good score. Some days you might be 2-under par on those holes. You never know.

I think you really are trying to manage your game on those holes because we all know 11 and 12 are crucial. We've seen that over the years. And 13 is a good opportunity. Bogey is not that far away either.

So some special holes.

Q. When you're standing on 13 tee box away from everything, away from cameras and the patrons, you're stuck back there ready to hit that tee shot, what are you thinking about? What are you seeing for people that can't get back there and know what that's like?

RASMUS HØJGAARD: I've actually -- I don't know to be fair. I never thought about standing there. It's obviously very quiet. Yeah, again, it's one of those feels like a straightforward tee shot but you want to challenge that left side a little bit and it's easy to do.

So yeah, it's a nice part of the course. All right, we go into the final part of the round now. Let's get off to a good start kind of.

So, yeah, it's one of my favorite holes on the golf course for sure.

Q. Thanks. Good luck this week.

RASMUS HØJGAARD: Thank you.
