Q. How did it feel out there?

SEPP STRAKA: Good. I just chipped and putted and went around the back nine with wedge and a putter and just tried to get used to the turf, get used to the greens.

Q. How has your practice round putting been different since you started here?

SEPP STRAKA: I would say my first year especially, I played a lot more just because I didn't know the course as well. I think it's gotten a little bit more towards my normal routine, which is nine holes on Tuesday, nine holes on Wednesday.

Then yeah, this year will be the first time that I just do nine and nine in the practice rounds.

Q. What did Pebble do for your season?

SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, it's definitely my best finish of the year for sure. It's always nice to get off to a good start. I didn't play very well on the West Coast in terms of ball-striking but got a lot of good results out of it, so it was nice to be able to be in contention even though I didn't have my best.

Q. What do you do with the glasses you get for making eagles here?

SEPP STRAKA: I've never made an eagle. I made a hole-in-one in the par-3 tournament, though. No eagles, unfortunately. Maybe this will be my year.

Q. Do people talk about that?

SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, it's definitely -- you definitely think about it a little bit, whether it's -- definitely not over the putt, but either before the day starts, you see a pin that you like or something, or afterwards after you make the eagle you definitely think about that little gift that you're going to get.

Q. What did you get for the par-3 hole-in-one?

SEPP STRAKA: Some sort of a crystal. I can't even remember. It's standing in our formal dining room.

Q. What do you have in there?

SEPP STRAKA: Nothing. It's just displayed.
