Q. How was it out there today?

SAM BURNS: It was good. The golf course is in great shape, obviously. It is every year you come here. But I think especially with the forecast we have, no rain, I think they're going to be able to get the golf course pretty firm and fast and do whatever they want with it. I think it'll be a really good test.

Q. What are the keys to practicing putting out here on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday?

SAM BURNS: Well, number one, a feel for the speed. Then I think here, you can just get the ball into some places on the green where the hole is over here and you're putting this way, and I think it's such a trick to your eye. It just seems kind of backwards sometimes.

But I think that's the cool thing about this golf course is there's no real straightforward shot. There's so many options and different ways you can play it, and I think that's what is unique about this place.

Q. How much better, more comfortable do you feel versus five years ago when you first came here?

SAM BURNS: Yeah, I think just the prep work is a little bit easier having played here many times now, and I think you kind of are doing the same type of things when you're out there practicing. You kind of know some of the putts. You know kind of the dos and do notes around here, and I think that's helpful early in the week.

Q. Do you know how many eagles you've had in tournament play here?

SAM BURNS: I don't.

Q. It's a couple.

SAM BURNS: Maybe.

Q. Have you got the crystal --

SAM BURNS: Yeah.

Q. Do you use them?

SAM BURNS: I'm sure my wife does. I let her be in charge of all the nice and important stuff. I'm sure she puts them to good use.

Q. They're not going as Christmas gifts?

SAM BURNS: No, no, no.

Q. I didn't know if young guys come out here and ever asked about those and you have to answer questions of, yeah, they do actually give them out.

SAM BURNS: Yeah, they do. They certainly do. It's a cool thing that they do.
