Q. Lauren, the smell of victory right now. You've beaten the top 20 players in the world. You've beaten Shadow Creek. What does this tell you about your golf game?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I mean, I don't really know. I just know I played really, really great all week. Had a lot of fun. I'm just happy.

You know, definitely left a sour taste in my mouth last year not getting the W given how well I played all week, so makes it extra special this week.

Q. You had a sizable lead coming down the last few holes. At what point did you allow yourself to think you might win this?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Probably after I hit that wedge shot on 18 into it. I was like, all right, I think I got it now.

Q. How hard was that laying up?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: It was not that hard. I was kind of between clubs and I was like, let's just give myself a full wedge into this thing and just make it a little bit easier on myself given that I don't really need to do anything special.
