Shadow Creek
Quick Quotes
Q. Leona, 1-under today to finish the week here at Shadow Creek. How would you assess your week overall?
LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, I mean, any time you can shoot three rounds under par at Shadow Creek you're pretty happy.
I mean, it's obviously somewhere I've done well in the past and predominantly match play, but the stroke play the one year we did it.
I've always said it's one of my favorite venues of the year. I felt like my game had been a lot better lately than some of the scores I shot, and it was nice to see that sort of come to fruition this week on really the hardest course I played all year.
Yeah, really, really positive week and, yeah, really enjoyed the test that was Shadow Creek.
Q. What was it like being in the last few groups again and being, as you say, under par around here?
LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, felt a lot more comfortable than I thought I would. Still working on plenty of stuff on my swing, but it was nice to see that hold up on this golf course.
Like I said, yeah, lots of positives heading into the next few weeks. Obviously got LA and Chevron, first major of the year. So, yeah, feel like Shadow Creek has given me more than it's taken off me over the years, so, yeah, like I said it's always one of my favorites.
Feel like I'm leaving here with my swing and sanity in tact, which is always a good thing.
Q. What do you plan to do now? Go back home? Have a week off?
LEONA MAGUIRE: Go back to Orlando. It's been seven weeks on the road with three weeks in Asia, so very much looking forward to getting back to Orlando. The brain is pretty tired and the body.
So definitely recharge for a few days and we'll go again.
