Quick Quotes
Q. First ANWA. Tell us about your experience so far.
AMELIE ZALSMAN: It's been great. Champions Retreat has been really fun. Just trying to take it shot by shot, play to the best of my ability, and I was able to put up a really good score the past two days. So pretty proud of myself.
Q. First impressions of Augusta?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: It's really hilly, not really what I expected when it came to that. Greens very undulated, as I expected, of course. I thought the greens were going to be a bit faster, but I'm sure they're going to speed them up tomorrow, keep them up to par.
Q. When you come here for the first time to Augusta and everybody talks about it, how do you do a practice round and concentrate enough knowing that you're in contention tomorrow?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Yeah, I was out there with my two Wake Forest teammates, so I think that also just kind of helped me keep my mind a bit off of it. Just trying to prep for tomorrow, see where to miss, where not to miss, this being my first time playing Augusta.
I was also able to hit a lot of drivers off the tee, which I loved, because I love hitting driver. So got to be pretty aggressive on certain holes, which I love.
Q. What is that attitude, being aggressive tomorrow, how are you going to use it?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: I mean, definitely firing at pins when I can. I still have to be smart obviously, but I'm a few strokes back from the lead. I think just being aggressive out there and trying to get the best finish I can.
