Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Angel after her second round here at the Aramco Championship. Does a 1-under today kind of feel like a win?
ANGEL YIN: Yeah, for sure. I mean, any time shooting 1-under anywhere, especially here, feels like a win. Sometimes like when you shoot 1-under in Arizona doesn't feel like a win, but anything under par is always good.
Q. Take us through the conditions. Heard a lot of swirling winds, unpredictable winds. What did you see out there?
ANGEL YIN: That, what you said, but I feel like we played on worse except it was match play. But I think the year where we had stroke play and match play I think we had some conditions that were pretty tough as well that I remember when we played in the stroke play.
I think with the course setup and everything was pretty forgiving and it wasn't as challenging ass it did before when we were playing in match play, so that was really nice, on you know, the setup and everything.
So I think it overall played pretty fair, especially since we're here at Shadow. It's supposed to be challenging.
Q. I think you had a stretch of three straight birdies on the front. Just take us through that.
ANGEL YIN: Yeah, making putts and hitting good shots and I think when it drops, it drops. You just want to take advantage of that. Yeah, you never really know how it's going to go. Obviously we played pretty late conditions so you can't really see how the breaks are with sunlight and then obviously the grass starts to react differently because it's going to sleep.
So it's different.
Q. Yeah. Last one: How do you close the gap a little bit tomorrow to catch up to Lauren?
ANGEL YIN: Well, shooting good scores like this. But, yeah, under par is the way to go because I don't think she's going to back down. She's been playing good here, especially since her track record last year playing in the final match with Madelene.
She plays good here and obviously has shown.
