Q. What's been the biggest difference for you between yesterday and today?

APHRODITE DENG: Probably just limiting my mistakes and knowing where to miss.

Q. And how would you sum up your week so far?

APHRODITE DENG: It's been really great being out here with all these spectators, and it's really cool to be able to play.

Q. You're pretty focused on your own game, of course, but what have you made of the level of talent at this event?

APHRODITE DENG: Yeah. Everyone here is really good, and just playing my own game, again, yeah.

Q. And all of the Canadians have made the cut and will play Augusta National in the final round. How cool is that for you?

APHRODITE DENG: Yeah. It's really cool being able to play alongside some of my teammates, yeah.

Q. And kind of tell me a little bit about what your first impressions of this course were and kind of what you took from yesterday going into today.

APHRODITE DENG: Yeah. This course is pretty difficult, especially with the grain, but just staying in my shots and being able to make putts really helped.

Q. And how does it feel that you're comfortably within the cut in your first time here at this tournament and that you'll be playing at Augusta National on Saturday?

APHRODITE DENG: Yeah. It feels great, and I'm really excited.

Q. You've played in a lot of big tournaments. You've won a lot of big tournaments. This one a little bit different because of the stage of Augusta National and all that stuff. Did you come in with any preconceived notions of what it would be like and did it change coming through or anything like that?

APHRODITE DENG: Yeah. I came in really excited just to see how my game would stack up with these really great players, and throughout the week it's just been really fun.

Q. And I know I think it was Tuesday, I think, you had like a players' dinner.

APHRODITE DENG: Yeah.

Q. What was that like? I know you talked to me before about it. Was there a lot of people you were excited to see at that dinner?

APHRODITE DENG: Yeah, like the past champions, Anna Davis. It was really cool, and being at Augusta at a dinner was really good. Yeah. We sat next to some of the players.

Q. Who did you sit next to?

APHRODITE DENG: I don't really remember. Just a few people.

Q. Tell me a little bit about that trio of birdies that you had at the beginning of your back nine and how it felt to get through those few holes.

APHRODITE DENG: It felt great. One of them was a chip-in. And I wasn't expecting that. And then I just made a couple of putts. It kept me in there.
