Quick Quotes
Q. Amelie, great playing out here the past two days. What part of your game are you most proud of through these first two rounds?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Honestly, just my mental game, I would say. Just sticking through every shot, especially today was a bit tough with all the tucked pins today. It was definitely a grind. Yeah.
Q. How did you stay composed knowing what was on the line making the cut?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Yeah. I mean, this is my first time playing, so, you know, my one goal pretty much this week is just to make the cut and compete at Augusta, which is my dream.
You know, today I put myself in a pretty good position to make the cut. So just try to keep the same mentality. It was definitely in the back of my mind there, but try not to focus on it too much.
Q. For sure. When you think about playing at Augusta National, what is that first thought that comes to your mind?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: I think just all the history and the past winners and just what that golf course means to this game. I mean, it's just such a special honor.
Q. What is this experience playing at ANWA for the first time mean for you at this point in your golf journey?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Yeah. This is, I would say, pretty much my first really high-level amateur event. So I think it really just shows me that I can compete and hang once I get to college next fall.
Q. What's your mindset heading into this final round?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Honestly, just to enjoy it. You know, I'm going to be at Augusta, and I just really want to enjoy my time, take a look at the nature and stuff and just really enjoy it.
