Quick Quotes
Q. What kind of message would you like to tell people about how much time you spend working on your putting to be the best in the world?
JEENO THITIKUL: I try -- I mean, like I tried, you know, like they said, drive for show, putt for money, so I think, you know, whatever you play, you had a bad shot out there but you can't hole the putts, which mean you can get frustrated.
The putts is the one like keep the score going.
Q. You kept the score going today. It got kind of difficult out there as the afternoon went on on to the back nine. Describe the change in the golf course and why it was hard to score the last hour or so.
JEENO THITIKUL: I never think this is easy course at all. Even I play a few time in match play, I still thinking it's one of the hardest course we play in all year long.
I mean, it can be major for sure, this course. You know, like when it's afternoon you got the wind and then the green, it's kind of drying out. Then firmer than the morning for sure, and that's why it's the key it's play hard here.
Q. Speaking of keys, let me have you set up to this putter and give me one or two of your key thoughts about putting.
JEENO THITIKUL: I think it's like a teaching, like coach.
Q. Yeah. Tell me. Tell me.
JEENO THITIKUL: If I'm not going to be here.
Q. You don't have to tell any secrets, but just a one or two thoughts about putting.
JEENO THITIKUL: Well, I trying to putt the visualizations a lot, not be like too much over the ball. I think if you visualization is good and then your hands in sync will be better because kind of feels player more than technical.
Q. Yes, so get away from to the technical and just think about...
JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah.
