Quick Quotes
Q. Maybe just explain your practice round and preparation today and what kind of a special event this is for you.
REAGAN ZIBILSKI: Yeah, the practice round was super fun. I played with my teammates. We had a lot of fun. But it was focused fun.
I think just getting a good game plan together with my dad, he's on the bag this week, is really important, and just kind of piecing it together for a good couple days.
Q. What's the dynamic between you and your father? You have the father-daughter dynamic and then you need to switch gears into player-caddie, businesslike atmosphere. How do you balance that?
REAGAN ZIBILSKI: I think it is a good balance. Him and I are really businesslike on the golf course, and just kind of running the math and getting the numbers and the game plan, it's been fun, but also having him there for comfort is really important to me.
I'm just really excited to have him with me.
Q. What's his level of excitement seeing you -- it's going to happen in a couple days where you're going to be walking the fairways of Augusta National. Is he going to be able to hold it together?
REAGAN ZIBILSKI: I think he's more excited than I am. No, it's been a dream of mine, and to have him with me on the bag, especially for Saturday, I'm stoked. We're over the moon.
Q. Is there anybody in particular that you've gotten any advice or tips from?
REAGAN ZIBILSKI: I think just listening to my teammates and MaJo, she's playing here, this is her fourth year, so just kind of listening to her and how she handles it and handles the nerves and how her game plan and how that is. It's been good. We've been talking about it for a while.
Q. How does Champions Retreat stack up to some of the other golf courses you're playing at on a D-1 collegiate level? What are its strengths? What are its challenges?
REAGAN ZIBILSKI: Yeah, it's a championship golf course. I think it rewards really good ball-striking. It's definitely a ball striker's golf course. Just getting yourself in a good position off the tee to kind of attack some of the pins -- I know there will be some tough pins out there, so just really playing smart golf and putting myself in a good position to make some putts.
Q. If you and MaJo were paired together at Augusta National and you were mic'd up, what are some of the stories you think we would be hearing?
REAGAN ZIBILSKI: Oh, man. We'd probably be talking about some of the people that we were seeing, maybe some of the outfits that we see.
But no, just enjoying it together. That would be amazing. We'd have some laughs, and I would love to walk the fairways of Augusta with her.
