Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Frida at her final round at the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass. Looking like your first top 10 of the season; how good does that feel at the beginning of the year?
FRIDA KINHULT: No, it's great, only third start to year, so good to get one under the belt for sure. Yeah, just happy overall with the week. A couple weird funky stretches for me on the scorecard, but overall really happy. Plenty of birdies out there. It's been a fun week.
Q. I know obviously we don't play in these conditions all the time, but what will you take away from this week?
FRIDA KINHULT: I would say I played -- we talked earlier this week, too. I played very aggressive. Some courses you can't be this aggressive. But I definitely gained some from that this week. My putting wasn't the best overall this week, but I just gave myself a lot of great chances, a lot of birdie chances inside 15 feet, which I think is key for me and most players probably.
Yeah, just continue being as aggressive as possible and trusting my swing pretty good, so it was easier to stick to target focus and have some fun.
Q. Was there anything specifically you were doing that was allowing you to have all those birdie opportunities?
FRIDA KINHULT: Not really. Again, just trying to be pin seeking out there. I had great conversations with my caddie throughout the week I would say. It's been pretty firm greens, so we have to calculate all the bounces and winds and stuff. But we did a good job picking one target and trying to play that. It's been good.
Q. Anything still to work on the rest of the year?
FRIDA KINHULT: Yeah, everything, always. Everything can always get better. I would say putting this week, it's been okay, obviously, but still sometimes like the line doesn't match the speed, so working some on that. Can still work on my short game. But yeah, we'll continue grinding and get better from here.
