FORD CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY WILD HORSE PASS

March 28, 2026

Lindy Duncan

Chandler, Arizona, USA

Whirlwind Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Pleased to be joined by Lindy Duncan after her third round of the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass. 6-under 66 today. Talk a little bit about your round. A lot of circles on the card today.

LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, I had a lot of great chances for birdie. I played the par-5s really well. I had a 9-iron into 17 because the tee was moved up.

Didn't birdie that one, but made a really good putt. The front nine was really good, too, so all in all like a great day, yeah.

Q. Only blemish on the card was on 7, but then bounced righted back. That's been your theme this week, is bouncing back. Right after that, bogey-free the rest of the round; five birdies. Talk about the mentality it takes to have that hole and forget it.

LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, I had a tough hole. That's going to happen to everybody. I hit a couple loose shots and I've been hitting it great, so I gave myself a lot of space. I was -- I knew I was hitting it pretty well the past couple days and today, so I just brushed it off, and on the next hole I hit a good approach shot. I really kind of wanted to make that one to get one back. That putt dropped, and it really changed the momentum totally.

So that was a really good turnaround.

Yeah, that's the stuff I wish I could bottle up and use every day. Every round you face some kind of adversity or feel some type of discomfort. It was nice to be able to do that today.

Q. Wind picked up a little bit today. Did that change how the course played at all?

LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, a lot of the tee shots played differently, so there were some different clubs going into the greens, whether that was longer because the hole was into the wind or a little bit shorter because it was downwind.

So definitely played different.

And the greens being as frictionless as they already are I was a little nervous about the putting today more so than even the ball striking because there is a couple -- if you get on the wrong side of the pin and you're downwind you're just tapping it and hoping you don't get a gust or misjudge the break and it goes an extra six feet.

That happened to me on 7. So it was trying to be into the wind and uphill as much as you could. But yeah, definitely played different.

Q. Earlier this week announced as the first of the DriveOn series. Now playing really good golf at the inaugural announcement of this. What does it mean to put up a good score after all that came out?

LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, I'm really happy. I felt like sharing that was a lot of fun for me. I got to work with a lot of you guys at the LPGA, and it's been so much fun.

I've just created a lot of great connections and a lot of positive support came out of that. A lot of people really told me congratulations and thank you for sharing and I felt like it was my honor to do that with the LPGA.

Then to play well on top of that is just super bonus. So I'm really happy.
