Q. Joined by Sophia Schubert after her second round of the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass. Two solid round so far this week. 4-under today. Talk about overall feeling of this week and how the game is.

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: I feel really good. I love playing in Arizona. Coming into this during the practice round I knew scores we would probably be pretty low. I knew it was up to me to make a lot putts.

I actually switched putters this week and seemed to be working pretty well. Yesterday was a little better than today on the putting green.

Overall I feel really good about my game.

Q. Still early in the season, but first cut made of 2026.

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: Yeah.

Q. How is it feeling being back out here?

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: It feels great. I missed the LPGA. Being on Epson it was great; I needed that for my own game. But I missed being out here.

And making that first cut is always the most difficult, so really happy with it.

Q. Have you noticed any difference in competition between the Epson and out here? How did the Epson Tour prepare you to come back out here and compete going into the weekend only a couple shots back?

SOPHIA SCHUBERT: Yeah, the competition on both the Epson and the LPGA is just tough. Epson Tour is tough. Everyone is out there grinding and everyone wants the same thing. I really think it prepared me to come back out here, play against best in the world, and just see where I'm at the first couple tournaments.

I know what I need to work on now, so I'm just go to work on those and continue forward.
