Q. Pleased to be joined after her first round of the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass by Frida. 8-under bogey-free round. Just talk about your day today. Those don't come around too often. How were you feeling out there?

FRIDA KINHULT: It was hot. But, no, it was a great day. Obviously 8-under, I'll take it anywhere, any day.

It was pretty steady off the tee. Gave myself a good amount of opportunities out there, so very happy with the first round.

Q. Talk about the ball striking this week. We've seen a lot of players come in this week, a lot of fairways, a lot of greens. Is it generous fairways and generous greens or how is it working out there?

FRIDA KINHULT: Yeah, I'm probably not known for the best driving game. I'm working on it, but I'm happy there are quite wide fairways here.

Yeah, the pins were pretty generous today I would say. They're very, yeah, gettable. We can stay pretty aggressive on approach shots today, which always helps to fire some low scores.

But, yeah, no, it was not really any wind out there. So, yeah, not the longest course either so definitely a bunch of chances out there.

Q. And does it change your mindset at all when you're out there, like you said, there is generous pins, does that change, okay, I need to make a few more birdies coming in here?

FRIDA KINHULT: In general I would say I'm a pretty aggressive golfer and this course obviously fits me pretty good with that.

When I have to change my game plan on tougher courses I don't really like that that much, so, I'd say it fits my game pretty well to just send it and get after it, yeah.

Q. Do you think it fits every aggressive player's game? Is it a shot shape you like or just one of those things it fits your eye right now?

FRIDA KINHULT: I mean, again, it's pretty generous off the tee. I would say any aggressive golfer probably would like this course.

You need a little bit of shot shaping both ways I would say off the tee sometimes, which I like to shape it both ways and have some fun with it.

Yeah, no, any aggressive golfer would probably have some fun out here.
