FORTINET FOUNDERS CUP

March 21, 2026

Jeeno Thitikul

Menlo Park, California, USA

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Jeeno Thitikul after the third round the Fortinet Founders Cup. Speak to today's round and how it went.

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, it was kind of a lot of emotional on the back nine. A lot of par save on like last couple holes, especially the last hole.

And then, yeah, I mean, see the leaderboard all the way 18 and then saw Hyo Joo making and making some birdies, birdies and birdies.

I was like, is this golf course that easy? Obviously not a bad round today for me.

Q. How do you feel that the course has changed over the past couple days? I feel like we've heard from a couple people about being very aggressive versus people noticing greens, like having to accommodate for the bounce on the greens. What's your take from the past couple rounds?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, I know. It's just so different by Monday. I mean, like Monday was so soft. Every shot that I hit in it's still there, but like today even my 52 got bounce off like five, four yards away from the hole.

I mean, it's play different.

And then the pin position wasn't that easy to play aggressive golf, so I mean, you obviously had to be on the fairway so put yourself on like the right directions of the green.

Q. And couple shots back going into tomorrow. What is your mentality going in?

JEENO THITIKUL: Just couple? (Laughter.) I guess it's a lot.

Q. What is your mindset going into tomorrow with that?

JEENO THITIKUL: Nothing. I mean, like just trying to find the fairways. First things. And then also, you know, if you have a chance to go aggressive to the pins, I mean if the pin that easy to go and then just go and make some putts.

If not, you just stay smart and do some smart golf.

Q. When you're chasing from this kind of position do you look back to your win in Thailand as motivation or as a confidence boost?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, I mean, like to Thailand, right you say? The Honda one?

Q. Yeah.

JEENO THITIKUL: The Honda one just really different because I'm like leading, but now it's a lot of gap, Sarah.

Obviously playing as chasing better I guess than playing as a leader as well. I mean, like on mental-wise, everything-wise. You can play aggressive and then you don't have things to worry that much.

So I think it's different, but obviously Thailand just a good memories in my mind that I had.

Q. Do you go into tomorrow looking to, like you said, make a lot of birdies and have a lot of fun and try to play a bit more aggressive, or stick to your game plan and hope you move up the leaderboard?

JEENO THITIKUL: I think I just trying to play aggressive more. Like a lot of holes that I can, you know, play more aggressive than today or yesterday, so obviously we'll see how the momentum is going for the golf because, you know, when it feels good and then you can go, but when you not feel comfortable then you just have to stay patient and wait for the chance.

Q. What would you do say too, about there has been a good number of fans in the last couple groups following. What can you say about the fans that came out?

JEENO THITIKUL: I saw a lot of fans came out since yesterday, and then today Saturday so they can came out a lot.

And then Nelly is play in front of me. Hear the sound of the fans shouting. Also behind me Hyo Joo makes every putts; fans shouting a lot.

Obviously it's nice, nice to showing them how women's golf kind of good and obviously which want them more and more.
