Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Sei Young Kim after the third round the for the to the Founders Cup. Talk about what went well?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I mean, play early morning is way better than afternoon because the greens are more clean and I can see the line. Ball goes where I looking at.
So, yeah, so I was able to a lot of birdie today and then the greens are softer I feel like. Even pin position wasn't easy today.
Wherever is we attack the pins, both really good each other, yeah. Yeah, so far so good.
Q. Do you think it was just playing in the morning that made it softer or you think -- at the end of the day yesterday people were saying it was firm.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, afternoon is very firm. I mean, some holes it's not consistent because some holes like hold the ball, some holes release a lot. So it's complicated if you play the afternoon. Fairways a lot of release. Some hole like 300 yard my tee shot.
So it's depends where is a kick really different what if you play the afternoon. But morning is very consistently, so it's a little bit easier than the afternoon I played today.
Q. Do you think when you went out today you had a feeling that you really could attack?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, because the first round I played wasn't good because I don't really used to my distance-wise because offseason I work out a lot. So sometimes my iron distance long and sometimes short. I was like a little complicated. As much going second round, third round it's getting used to so feels more comfortable then I was able to attack the pins today's.
Q. You played with Nasa who also had 6-under today.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah.
Q. Were you bouncing off each other?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, she's like three in a row -- she made a birdie so look like birdie train, yeah. And then we feed good each other today.
Then I try to make more birdies, especially back nine. I wasn't good as much as her like front nine, so, yeah, I was like thinking, like oh, I need more birdies, especially back nine. So, yeah, I made it.
Q. If you had to make a guess for this afternoon what do you think scores will look like?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I don't know. Because Hyo Joo a really accurate person, so I don't know how is her condition-wise. So different. So, yeah, hopefully, I don't know. Yeah.
Q. Can you just speak to your relationship with Hyo Joo specifically and what it's been like playing together?
SEI YOUNG KIM: She's one of my favorite player since we grew up together. We were like National Team when we were young. I met her first time she was like nine or ten, little girl. I was like middle school.
So first I got the really good impression. She's a really good personality and funny. Yeah, that's one of my favorite player and then good friend each other, yeah.
Q. What can you say about her work ethic and what she puts into playing out here?
SEI YOUNG KIM: She's not practice much. Yeah, she's always teasing me, why you practice so much? I'm like -- I was like, I don't know. She's always tease me, yeah.
