Quick Quotes
Q. An up-and-down day. How would you assess your round?
DAVID LIPSKY: Just exactly that. It was up-and-down. I didn't hit it as many fairways as I wanted to, nor greens. But overall the short game and the putter really saved me and kept me in it. It's something I'm going to go to the range after now and try to fix for tomorrow.
Q. Tomorrow you're going into the final round just two shots back in contention, in search of your first PGA TOUR win. What would that mean to you to get that done here this week?
DAVID LIPSKY: I mean, the world. I mean, it means everything. That's what I dreamed of as a little kid. It's why I spent so many years playing across the world to try to get here to put myself in these moments.
Q. How was the energy out there today playing with in the final group?
DAVID LIPSKY: It was great. I'm friends with Sungjae and his caddie Will, and it was just a comfortable pairing and the crowds were great, so it was a fun day overall.
Q. You have won elsewhere, but how do you think tomorrow is going to feel being in two strokes off on this tour?
DAVID LIPSKY: I think it's going to feel a little bit different tomorrow than today because tomorrow I'll probably be in the second to last group, to be honest. Today was little bit of trying to keep pace. Tomorrow will be a little bit more of fire away and try to pull ahead.
Q. Is there an advantage or disadvantage to being in the group ahead of the leaders?
DAVID LIPSKY: I mean, yes and no. It's so dependent on the situation. Overall I'm in the last couple groups and I'm in the hunt, so couldn't ask for more.
