Q. Slow start, you were able to turn things around on your back nine, a 2-under 69. How would you assess your round?

SUNGJAE IM: Well, first of all, I didn't think my tee shots were very good. I wasn't able to hold the fairways, so I left myself some difficult second shots. For these past two days I think I've taken the chances I can get, so I think it will be really great if I can keep that going into the weekend.

Q. Your first made cut this season. How are you feeling and how does this help your confidence?

SUNGJAE IM: Yeah, it's been my first made cut in the past two, three weeks. It's really great that I'm in this leading position. I want to really focus and be patient, because I have a chance this weekend.

Q. You're leading the field heading into the weekend. What's your game plan?

SUNGJAE IM: This weekend, I think the winds are going to blow and the greens are going to get more firm. The most important thing is that I can get my drives into the fairways. If I do that, then I will be able to give myself good chances. There's just a lot of danger out there on the course, so I want to be thinking about those things carefully and have good course management.
